If you have activated Bluetooth on your smartphone and you want to connect it to your NAVIGON device, sometimes it can cause problems with the additional functions. To fix the problem please proceed the following steps:


  1. Make sure that you've installed the latest software version on your NAVIGON device. (Instructions)

  2. Make sure that you've installed the latest firmware on your smartphone. (Settings > System updates)

  3. Delete the pairing of the two devices in both devices
        NAVIGON device: Delete the pairing in the navigation device: Mainmenu > Phone > List of BT devices (upper right corner) > Options > Delete device
        Smartphone: Delete the pairing in the phone (Mostly: Settings > Bluetooth – or refer to the owner’s manual of the phone)

  4. Perform a restart of the navigation device and the phone

  5. Do the pairing of the navigation device and phone again
