If you use the NAVIGON Select - Telekom Edition und try to install an In-App you get the following error message: Connection error, please try later again.


Reason: 

The Telekom distinguishes between two blocks:

  • The third-party purchase block is a restriction in the mobile phone contract by Deutsche Telekom itself.
  • The "flexible block" is a restriction that is implemented by the customer via his T-Mobile account.


Solution:

  1. An active GSM connection is mandatory.
  2. If the customer uses a prepaid card enough credit is necessary.
  3. In-App purchases are not possible in foreign countries.
  4. Are there any restrictions in the device or mobile contract?
    (e.g. third-party purchase block)
