How do I install or remove the maps on my Apple app?

Map management is done with the Map-Manager of the NAVIGON app.
This gives you the possibility to download, update or remove maps.

Please note: The existing maps are always made available and are based on the time of the app purchase. If you wish to update these, then the one-time purchase of the in-app FreshMaps is necessary. 
  This is how you can download or add/remove maps

  1. Open the NAVIGON app.
  2. Select Menu on the top left side (block symbol/3 bars) and tap on the Map Manager.  (A data connection for verification is required for the Select app and Wi-Fi can be activated once prompted)
  3. Place a tick in the box next to the desired country to download or remove a displayed tick to delete it from the mobile device. 
  4. Tap on the button Accept changes  to finalize your selection and proceed with the download or removal of the maps. It is not possible to use the app until the process is completed.

Please not: A stable Wi-Fi connection is required to ensure that the process is not broken-off or faults are established. We recommend ending or pausing any other downloads at this time.  
  This is how you can update the maps (The in-app FreshMaps is necessary for this)

  1. Open the NAVIGON app.

  3. Tap on the Update button to update all installed countries. It is not possible to use the app until the process is completed.
